Margaret McGannon’s practice focuses on general commercial litigation, including breach of contract claims and employment litigation. She also assists with various corporate matters.  She joined KBG in 2022.

Before joining KBG, Ms. McGannon practiced litigation at two well-regarded law firms in New York. Earlier in her career, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable J. Douglas McCullough of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

Ms. McGannon received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she interned with the North Carolina Attorney General’s Special Litigation Division and Legal Services of Southern Piedmont. She also holds an M.Ed. from Arizona State University, earned while serving as a Teach for America corps member teaching eighth-grade science in Glendale, Arizona, and a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Duke University, where she served as Vice President of Duke Student Government.

Ms. McGannon is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York. She was named a 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Star.
