Christine is a partner and co-head of the Telecommunications and Internet Law practice at Kent, Beatty & Gordon. Her practice focuses on the rapidly-evolving fields of Internet law, digital marketing and telemarketing law, data privacy and security law, and intellectual property law. Christine also focuses on commercial and civil litigation.
Christine has extensive experience counseling clients on issues relating to claims of false advertising and deceptive marketing, and defending clients against consumer class actions and regulatory enforcement investigations and actions at the federal, state and local levels. Christine regularly represents clients in connection with actions brought under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Christine also has substantial experience in negotiating and drafting complex licensing, marketing and Internet agreements. She regularly assists clients in the prosecution of their trademarks and copyrights, as well as with infringement-related claims and litigation.
Christine speaks, lectures and writes extensively on digital marketing, intellectual property and Internet-related issues. Her legal analysis has been featured in Asis International’s Security Management Magazine and ABC7 News. She is also a frequent contributor to You (Online).
Christine is admitted to practice in New York State and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is a member of the New York City Bar Association, the New York State Women’s Bar Association and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, where she serves as an Ambassador. She frequently provides pro bono legal services to the New York arts community through Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Christine also is a member of, and performs with, the New York City Bar Chorus.
